Description of my house

My house is on the nineteenth floor of a modern apartment block in the town. It is twenty storey building. There are a lot of high floors apartments near my house. My house is in the middle of the apartment complex. It has a great mountain nearby and it’s very an important reason why our family live there. It is surrounded by many trees. Many people go up the mountain in my hometown, because the mountain is good at going for a walk. It is not too up and down. There is a tennis court, a gym and a swimming pool within a few minutes walk. A big shopping mall called ‘E-mart’ is located near my house, which sells a lot of food, clothes and the necessaries of life with cheap prices. There is a lot of public transport, so I can go somewhere easily.
My house has two bathrooms, an attractive living-room with a nice balcony and one modern kitchen and four bedrooms. I especially like my room. There is an elegant dressing table and bed. It has a big closet inside the wall and a classical consol on the wooden floor. I like collecting perfumes, so I put all the perfumes and some figures of elephant on the consol. I often watch movies in my bed before asleep, because there is a wide LCD monitor by my bed. My room has a big window, and it is full with sunny weather in daytime. When it is rain, I can clearly hear sounds from falling rain hit the window. One miss thing is in my room which is not spacious. If I have a bigger room than now, I want to have a comfortable armchair.

I went to the city last weekend.

On Sunday there was the Santa Parade in Auckland city. The weather was very nice although windy,so I went to the city with Hue and his homestay mom and dad. We arrived in the city at 11 o'clock, so then we went for a walk in the city. Hue's homestay mom wanted to take us to famous places in the city, so we went to Britomart and the port. I especially liked the port with nice ships. I took photos in front of the ships and Hue took photos of me. When I looked around the port, I thought I would like to have my own ship for my holiday. It would be great with my family and friends. After that we moved to a shopping centre and had lunch there. I ate a muffin and drank a cup of cappuchino, I especially love the cream on cappuchino. When we went out of the shopping centre, there were many people waiting for the Parade in the street, and some people sat down on the ground. The band played carols through on their musical instruments and I enjoyed everything. The Parade started at 2 o'clock, so we had to wait more than one hour standing. It was difficult. Unfortunately, there was a sudden heavy downpour, so I ran into the shopping centre. When I went were back to the place before I had been standing, I could not go there. Many people were already there, so I had to see the Parade from the back. I could hardly see the Parade. Sometimes Hue took me up in his arms, so I could see a little and take photos. After the Parade finished , we went back home and drank beer. Even though I could not see the Parade very well, I enjoyed it. Next time when I go to the city, I want to drink beer outside a cafe in the Viaduct Basin.

I interested in romantic movies.

I really like watching romantic movies in my free time. Watching romantic movies with beer help me to relax, so I often watch them. Recently I have seen a movie named 'Chasing liberty', and I really enjoyed. There is a handsome actor and a lovely actress in the movie ,I especally like the actor. The movie story is about a president's private body guard and the president's daughter's love story. At first the actress didn't know him and then she fell in love with him. It seems that is a common plot, but if you watch this movie, you will probably like it.

Scar

I have a scar on my right knee. The scar was made by a terrible bike accident. When I was ten years old ,I didn't know how I rode bike. I have an older sister who has ridden bike very well, so one day my sister was doubling me. When we was riding down of the hill by her bike, suddenly I saw my mother. My mother was away from our and she shook her hand toward us. Immediately I replied to my mom use my right arm and upper body. Suddenly my sister could not control bike because of me , so we knocked over on the ground. Unfortunately there were a lot of small gravels, so we got hurt badly. We were crying because we suffered and frightened when we saw our knee's bleeding.
My mother also frithtened and ran into us as soon as she could. My sister was hurter than me, because she was in front of me. My mother took us to the doctor who treated us. Later for a few days we could not walk very well. After the accident, my sister has never got hurt in her life. She has only one scar on her knee because of me, so I still sorry about that when I see her scar. Me? I have many scars, so bike accident's scar is one of scars on my body. Fortunately the scar was getting smaller than at that time, because we were young. Now we have a small scar but we still have. I might not forget my and my sister scar.

I learnt from my mistakes.

When I decide to buy something, usually I like to buy it as soon as possible. I do not think carefully whether I really want something or whether the price is good, so when I buy somethings I make a lot mistakes.
I bought a jacket online three months ago. When I found it I bought it quickly. At that time I thought that it was the best price, design and quality, but I realized soon I had made a mistake. After I bought it, I found a nicer and cheaper jacket than mine. Now I try to think carefully before I buy something because I do not want to make any more mistakes. I have learnt many times from my mistakes, but I still make mistakes.

Sunee and Younghee

There are two cats in my homestay. Yellow one is Sunee and the other one is Younghee. They have a korean name. They have a different personality. Sunee is wilder than Younghee. Sunee often brings a worm in the house and eats flies. She does not like wash her body but she always wants new food. Younghee is milder than Sunee. When I take Younghee in my arms, she is keeping gently with me, but Sunee always runs away. Younghee often cleans her body and face and she also washes Sunee. They are good friends each other. Before I came NZ, I didn't take any animals, even a small cat and dog but now I can take them in my arms. I love them.

I'd like to talk about I won a musical ticket of 'Chicago'

I worked as an embroidery designer in Korea and usually listened to the radio during work time. Most radio stations give presents to listeners, who send them their stories, ask for songs and ask for free tickets to events like musicals, plays and to hear that the cinema. One day as usual I was listening to the radio. At that time I was surprised, presents for that week were tickets to the musical 'Chicago'. The presenter of the station said "If you want to see the musical 'Chicago', you should send the letters to telling us why you should go there". Before a few days ago I had watched an advertisement for the musical 'Chicago'. I thought that I really wanted to see it. I had never seen a musical before. I stopped work and then I wrote a little story about me on their homepage. I wrote it several times and my stories were each different. At that time I felt like was a writer, because I made so many stories about why I had to see the musical 'Chicago'. After a few days the writer of the radio station phoned to me. She said” You won 2 tickets to the musical 'Chicago'. When would you like to go there?” I pleased like I flew the sky. I had never won any competition like that before and the radio station is the most popular station at time in Korea. I finished work early and I went to the theater which is one of the most luxurious in Korea. I saw the musical 'Chicago' which is a fantastic musical with many famous actresses and actors on the stage. Since then I have won free tickets several times from other radio stations, but even over ten years later I will never forget my first free tickets.

Favorite musician- A singer Kim Dong Ryul

He was born in 1974 in Seoul ,Korea. He is one of the best ballad & jazz singer s in Korea. He has an attractive low voice. He played the piano from the age of six. After he won an University music competition in 1993, he started his career as a singer. At that time his major was building at University in Korea but he didn’t graduate. He was a member of the groups called ‘Exhibition’ and ‘Carnival’. The two groups play different genres of music, both are still very famous and have had many hit songs. After he broke up with the two groups he went to the University of Berkeley in USA to learn about music film. He got a brilliant degree and graduated in 2003. I have known him as a singer for 8 years. He has never had any scandal in his life. He has had three albums with groups and four solo albums. He has written many lyrics as well as music by himself. He has many famous songs in Korea. One of the best songs is “Shall I say again ‘I love you’?”. This song was number one on the Korean music charts for five weeks. Sometimes his lyrics make you feel sad but they are really good. People especially like his lyrics and his low voice. I sure that people heard his songs like him even though they didn’t know him at all. Now He is a presenter on a music programme on TV in Korea ‘Kim Dong Ryul’s for you’. He has been interviewed on, he would like to make film music in the future. I really look forward to his next album.

What is the most frightening thing that has happened to you?

When I was 11 years old, I lost my brother in Playland. At that time my brother was just 8 years old, and he couldn't find his way home from Playland. My house was a long way from Playland. When I went there, I took a bus and the subway with my friend and her brother. Even I didn't know the way, only my friend knew it. We were young but our brothers were younger than us.
We had a good time in Playland before we lost our brothers. When we waited for a monorailway, many people were waiting in the queue there. We wanted to take a mini-playing car while our brothers waited for a monorailway. My friend and I went to the mini-playing car's place without our brothers.
When we came back to the monorailway, we couldn't see our brothers in the queue. They waited for that We were came back, but we didn't come back early, they moved each other.
At that time I was almost crazy, because there had been so many people in Playland who had lost their children, and usually they don't find their children again. I thought I felt like I wanted to die. I asked people on the street, and of course they said "No". I sat on the road and I was crying loudly.
Finally I gave up everything and I phoned my home. I told everything to my sister. She said, "He already came back 1 hour ago." 'Oh! my god!!!' I couldn't believe it, but I was happy and I thought that now I could live.
